Damnoen Saduak is now one of the major tourist draws in Bangkok and it has been spoiled by the souvenier stalls selling hats, clothes and ornaments which have replaced the food markets which used to buzz with life only on weekends. Now everyday there's a market but there are still some food vendors who sell fruit, spring rolls (freshly made on the boat) dim sum and other interesting looking concoctions directly from their boats to the punters waiting on the banks.
